We have begun production of a number of International One Metre class model yachts which we are selling in various states of completion.

They are ideal for sailing when there isn't enough wind for the real thing and they require no expensive storage or launching and can be sailed almost anywhere.

Wine Ot ?

This boat is a great introduction to the world of IOM sailing. Developed from a successful design from the mid 90's. We offer this boat as a ready to go package, all you need to do is add rigs and radio gear and you're sailing. The boat comes complete with the following items : Hull made from 0.8mm liteply bonded together with Epoxy and glass cloth, deck from 1.5mm liteply with all fixings for sheeting and rigging. Deck cutout patches, Carbon fibre fin with ballast to class rules, carbon fibre rudder. Finbox to allow easy removal of the fin for transport, mastbox for the rigs to attach to. Radio pot for batteries and receiver. All finished in your choice of colour.

Absolutely!

This isn't one of our designs, although we are the only people able to produce this boat. It is a great light air boat which performs well in the top rig, but is pushed in the two lower rigs. It has a raised foredeck and skiff afterdeck and a recess for the rudder servo and radio pot. This boat can be supplied in any state of finish, from bare hull and deck mouldings to a finished yacht ready to go. We can offer a number of different options for the layup of the boat to suit your experience and pocket, from simple chopped strand matting through to full on Epoxy glass composite which is vacuum bagged and post cured in and oven for maximum strength.

Absolutely Too!

The newest addition to the stable. We have developed this boat to redress the shortcomings of the Absolutely design in heavier weather. We have made the bow area slightly fuller to give more bouyancy, and we have reduced the rocker through the front of the hull to reduce pitching in a blow. We have also redesigned the deck, making the foredeck an integral part of the hull moulding so as to give it lots more strength. There are also no cutouts in front of the mast so as to prevent water ingress in a blow. The afterdeck has been designed to be simple, with cutouts for the winch and rudder servo, a radio pot area and an aft cutout for access to the rudder linkage.

We can supply this design to a number of different finish stages, from a hull and deck moulding, to a ready to sail boat. This boat is only produced in Epoxy glass composite.

Fins, Rudders and Lead.

We produce all our own fins and rudders from Carbon fibre. We have some precision cnc milled aluminium moulds for the fin and rudder. We are able to produce fins up to 500mm, with Carbon skins and a foam core, we also integrate a stainless threaded rod which protrudes from the top of the fin to allow fixing to the hull. We can at your request add a similar rod to the bottom end of the fin to allow fixing of the lead, however we prefer to use taper pins to connect the lead to the fin. The fins are a NACA 0006 section with a constant chord of 85mm.

Rudders are produced in a similar way, in precision cnc milled aluminium moulds. We use Carbon fibre skins with a foam core and a stainless rudder stock is integrated into the rudder at the moulding stage.

We are also able to cast the lead ballast weights for IOM yachts to various designs.
