We will of course have to charge you a small fee for this, but we'll sort all that out on an individual basis.

Westerly Centaur - Atwood

A really great little cruiser ideal for Abersoch and North Wales Coastal waters. Atwood is a bilge keel version of the very popular Westerly Centaur class of boat, she was built in 1979. There are many of them around, but few have been looked after as well as this one! She sports a 3 year old Z Spars masthead rig with 5 year old sails which stow neatly into a stackpack with lazyjacks for easy shorthanded sailing. The genoa furls around a Furlex roller reefing system.

Atwood has been with us in the yard for nearly ten years and we have known the previous and current owners of this great little yacht. The present owners have decided that due to a lack of time and with other projects on the go that they should sell Atwood on to a new owner who will get more use out of her than they are able to.

During the last 8 years the current owners have spared no expense in keeping Atwood looking great and working faultlesly allowing them maximum enjoyment time on the water.

Atwood is very well equipped with a myriad of electronic navigation aids, depth sounder, VHF radio, the list goes on. The mast was new in 2009 when, unfortunately, she was dismasted on her mooring. The standing and running rigging was all replaced as was the furling gear.

Sails, sail covers and sprayhood were new a couple of years before that and are all still in excellent order. New deck paint was applied at the beginning of the 2011 season and it gave the decks a new lease of life. The trusty Volvo engine has been serviced regularly and is in good order and the sterngear is all in good order too.

Atwood was surveyed in February 2012 and the survey report says that "Atwood is a good example of the class and is in good clean clean condition" A glowing report I'm sure you'll agree! The survey report can be viewed on request.

The survey did bring up a few minor issues which will be sorted before any sale is concluded as will the usual annual works of antifouling, polishing etc, so Atwood will be ready for a season of fun on the water.

The survey valued Atwood at £13,000.00 in todays market so she is priced to sell at £11,995.00 ono which we think represents a more than fair price.

Laser Sailing Dinghy For Sale - £1650ono

 

 

 

Laser 177894 (2003) comes complete with two full size sails, one for training and one crisp(ish) sail. Carbon tiller extension, black spars, well rigged in XD trim as far as I know. Complete with Admiral combi trailer with good bearings. Overall cover in good order, under cover for trailing, windex, Laser foil bag, some spares. Has been owned by Tim for 2 years but was a beach boat before that so a few scrapes on the underside but nothing major. Would make a great club boat as it is or a fantastic beach boat. Avon Adventure 560 - £13495.00 ono

Avon Adventure Rib (2005) complete with SBS roller trailer and Mariner 115hp four stroke outboard.

A great little dayboat for blasting around the peninsula and having fun with.

It has a great spec including, bow seat, suicide seat on the front of the console, Outhill console and seating, rear seat with flip backrest for spotting, two single jockey seats, grab rails, stainless A frame for towing watertoys, nav lights, Navman VHF and GPS, electric bilge pump.

The boat comes complete with individual console and seat covers as well as a large overall winter cover.

The engine has hydraulic steering which makes driving the boat really easy, the engine has also just been serviced and is ready for a season of fun on the water.

The outfit sits on a nice SBS roller trailer which has just had all the starlock washers replaced.

The boat could be accomodated on our excellent Park & Launch service if required, but it is currently stored and launched by the owner at his house.

SL 260 Inflatable & Suzuki 2.5hp

£675.00 ono

We have been asked to sell this package on behalf of the owner, who, by his own admission hasn't had the time to use it. As a consequence the boat has seen very light use and the outboard has undergone a PDI, was started once and has been stored since 2009.

The outboard is a 2008 - 09 Suzuki 2.5hp four stroke model which was chosen as a perfect partner to the dinghy. As you can see the outboard is still in it's original plastic wrapping and comes complete with a handy carry bag. We will make sure the engine is ready to go before any sale is completed thus ensuring you get the most out of your purchase.

The dinghy comes complete with oars, floor, carry bag, seat, sturdy transom, repair kit and a pump. It really has seen very little use and is in excellent condition.

The package would have been in excess of £1000 when new.

Over the last week or two we have been busy building a new boat for Bear Grylls, it is a Sealegs amphibious rib and can be launched and retreived using its own hydraulic wheels. We've been out and watertested it and can confirm that it is quite a nice boat and it looks pretty mean with grey tubes and grey Yamaha F115 outboard. Two entries in a day - The BBC news website have reported a rise in the number of Welsh beaches offering "Excellent bathing water" We are pleased to report that Porth Neigwl is a new addition. If you don't go boating this weekend why not shoehorn yourself into a wetsuit and grab a surfboard and go for a splash about! Clicky here for the full article.
